ARLINGTON, Texas - The Western Athletic Conference announced its 2024-25 year-end honors, with Filip Stipic, Yu-Han Hsieh, and Yuan Lu all earning All-WAC honors. Stipic earned All-WAC Second Team in singles play, while Hsieh and Lu earned All-WAC Second Team in doubles.

Stipic is the second Redhawk in school history to earn multiple All-WAC Singles honors in his career after also earning Second Team in 2023. Stipic joins Julian Worn (2023 & 2024) in that regard. Jun Sasagawa (2024), Eli Ogilby (2021), and Kevin Lynch (2014) have also earned All-WAC Singles honors for the Redhawks.

In singles play, Stipic lost just three matches during the spring season. He played on court one the entirety of the season for Seattle U. Stipic finished the spring season going undefeated across the last four dual matches. In April, Stipic earned WAC Singles Player of the Week after helping the Redhawks to a Senior Day victory.

Hsieh and Lu are the fourth duo to earn All-WAC Doubles honors. Julian Worn & Michael Frank were the last Redhawks to do so, in 2023. Lucas Cerbelli & Eli Ogilvy (2021) and Jason Bediones & Kevin Lynch (2014) also earned All-WAC Doubles honors.

Hsieh and Lu paired in doubles almost the entire season, playing together 15 times. They twice earned WAC Doubles Player of the Week, becoming the first Seattle U duo to win WAC Doubles Player of the Week twice in the same season since 2023. Lu earned three WAC weekly awards this year, the most ever in a single season by a Redhawk and most in a career since Julian Worn.
