BELLEVUE, WA - Behind a two home run performance from Royc Hale, Seattle U baseball took down Western Oregon, 12-5, Friday afternoon at Bannerwood Park. Micah Hagler also tossed a gem, not allowing a single run over seven innings to pick up his third win of the season.

For Hale, it was especially rewarding as it was the second appearance and first start of the season after missing the majority of 2025 due to injury. His 4th inning home run was the first of the sophomore's collegiate career, and he wasted no time getting his second in the 7th. His three runs batted in tied for the team high on the night.

Sam Kane and Reese Harmon also drove in three runs on the afternoon, going a combined 4-for-7 at the dish. Kenny Ishikawa was the other Redhawk with a multi-hit performance, racking up two doubles and three runs.

Hagler's seven inning shutout earned him his second win of the season. The sophomore has not allowed a single run over his last five appearances and 36.1 innings.

The win moves the Redhawks to 14-23 on the season and to an impressive 11-5 at home. The will look to get the mini sweep over the Wolves in game two tomorrow, April 19. Ishikawa is scheduled to make the start with a 12:00pm PT first pitch.
