UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – In the 11th annual Seattle U Redhawk Invitational, the Seattle University Redhawks took fifth place at +13. Kevin Li led the way at -4 under, just four strokes off the tournament champion and good for fourth place overall.
Li was under par in two of three rounds, shooting -2 under, 69 in round one and -3 under, 69 in round three. He has now been at least -2 under par in eight rounds this year, including three times in his last five rounds.
Walker Lamb was a metronome all tournament, shooting +1 over, 72 in round one, +2 over, 73 in round two, and a +1 over, 73 in round three. He would finished tied for 19th overall. The freshman six birdies and one eagle, coming on hole 18 during round three.
Jakob Balkovec started the tournament with a -2 under, 69. That matched his career-best round, recorded at the 2024 Redhawk Invitational. The junior would finish the competition at +8 overall.
Will Koch had a -1 under, 70 in round one en route to a +7 finish across 54 holes. Conrad Chisman shot +8 overall, highlighted by an even-par round three. Ben Ragland's best round was a +1 over, 73 in round three. He would shoot +10 overall. Liam Gill finished at +16 overall, while Caleb Davies shot +22.
The Redhawks have just one more competition before heading to the Western Athletic Conference Tournament, held this year in Payson, Arizona April 25-27. That last regular-season competition will be the UC Santa Barbara Invitational on April 7 and 8 in Santa Barbara, California.
