TUCSON, AZ - Seattle U baseball dropped their first all-time meeting with #23 Arizona, 6-8, Wednesday night in Arizona. The Redhawks put together a 9th inning rally that fell just a couple of runs short as they dropped the one game match up.

The Redhawks went into the top of the 9th trailing by four runs and were able to load the bases with two outs. Jared Stevenson drew a walk that scored Vicente Feliciano, which was followed by an Arizona wild pitch that allowed Kenny Ishikawa to score. Tyler Peterson would draw another Seattle U walk to reload the bases, but the Wildcats ended the threat with a strikeout to end the game.

Feliciano led the way with three hits on the night, while Ishikawa had the team-high in RBI with a pair of sacrifice flys. Peterson was the only other Redhawk with a multi-hit day, going 2-for3 with a couple walks.

On the mound, Brady Liddle (1-1) was credited with the loss as he went 2.0 IP while giving up just one earned. Rafael Espinoza's 6th start of the season was short, going one inning while allowing one run.

The loss drops the Redhawks to 9-15 on the season and to 2-8 in road games. They will look to bounce back when they open a 3-game conference series with Grand Canyon starting Friday, March 28, in Phoenix.
