SEATTLE - The Seattle University Redhawks saw Alisha Saucedo record the eighth-fastest mile in program history and five new personal bests at Mile City.

Saucedo ran a 5:03.54, just two-tenths of a second behind Sarah Boyce's seventh-place 5:03.30 from 2012.

Diana Camargo Solis, Diego Razo-Castaneda, Aidan Loeffelman, Dan Barreto, and Parker Wagnild all recorded new personal bests along with Saucedo. Camargo Solis ran a 5:07.32, finishing just behind teammate McKenna White's 5:07.31. Camargo Solis' time shaved 18 seconds off her previous career best mile.

Razo-Castaneda beat his old personal best by 14 seconds, running a 4:34.95. Loeffelman ran a 4:34.70, also a new personal best, while Wagnild's 4:25.81 was both a personal best and second only to Jeremy Posdon's team-leading 4:21.63 among Redhawks today. Barreto's 4:28.07 was a new personal best, improving on his previous best of 4:29.79.

Posdon, Alexzander Osorio (4:46.40), Dylan Irey (4:31.81), Eli Perez (4:37.21), Porter Buck (4:32.25), Annabelle Clapp (5:17.15), Mila Tsai (5:21.00), Lydia Dale (5:30.57), and Jackie Garcia-Sandoval (5:34.89) all made their freshman debuts in the mile. 

The Redhawks will next be in action at the two-day UW Invitational, beginning January 31 at the Dempsey Indoor Facility.
