QUICK HITS

  • In yet another classic battle between Seattle U and California Baptist, the Lancers would sneak ahead down the stretch, sending the Redhawks to a 61-59 defeat on Jan. 4 in Riverside.
  • Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe notched his seventh double-double of the season, finishing with game-highs of 18 points and 13 rebounds.
  • Moncrieffe is inching closer to the most double-doubles in a season by a Redhawk since Myles Carter collected 10 during the 2018-19 season.
  • In his third game back in the lineup and first start of the season, Kobe Williamson added 10 points and four rebounds.
  • Already Seattle U's all-time leader in blocks, Williamson's four on Dec. 30 versus Nicholls brings his career total to 151 and counting.
  • Houran Dan is coming into his own as of late. The freshman center started five of the last six games and is averaging 7.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game over the span. He's shooting at a 62.5% clip from the field in the five games while also hitting 15-of-19 from the free-throw line.
  • Paris Dawson has eight double-digit scoring outputs on the season, including in six of the last nine games. His season average of 10.8 ppg more than doubles his 2023-24 average of 5.1 ppg in nearly the same number of minutes per game.
