SEATTLE - With two tournaments under their belt, the Seattle University Redhawks will hit the road to take part in the Oregon State Invitational, set for October 7-8 in Corvallis, Oregon.

The tournament, hosted by Oregon State, will be the third time this year that Seattle University has competed in the same tournament as the Beavers. This is also the fourth consecutive year that the Redhawks have competed at the Oregon State Invitational. The Redhawks finished fourth in the 14-team field last season. Kevin Li and Ben Ragland both competed at that tournament last year, finishing 17th and 32nd, respectively.

Seattle University finished with a -22 team score in its first competition of this season, the Palouse Collegiate, the second-best team score in program history. The Redhawks will look to return to that form this week on the road in their first of two competitions in Oregon this season. The Redhawks will also take part in the Bandon Dunes Championships in March.

The Redhawks will have two more competitions in the fall season after this weekend. After the Oregon State Invitational, Seattle University will head to the Monterey Invitational in California and the Monterrey Collegiate Classic in Mexico to finish out the fall season before returning to action in February.
