SEATTLE - The Seattle University men's golf season will start off this week as the Redhawks head across the state to Pullman. The Redhawks will be a part of the Palouse Collegiate Invitational, taking place on September 10 and 11 at the Palouse Ridge Golf Club.

This will be the first of back-to-back competitions in Washington to start the year. The Redhawks will play in Sammamish on September 23 and 24 at The Tindall next.

Seattle University returns seven from last season, including WAC Freshman of the Year Kevin Li. Li is one of four Redhawks to record a -5 or better in a round last season, alongside returners Liam Gill, Will Koch, and the since-graduated Blake Kukula.

Also back are Ben Ragland, who finished seventh at the Redhawk Invitational with a -3 last year; Jacob Balkovec, who had a season-best -2 round; Caleb Davies, who took part in the Husky Invitational and Redhawk Invitational; and Burly Hildreth, who also competed in the Husky Invitational and Redhawk Invitationals for Seattle University.

The Redhawks will welcome three newcomers as well: freshmen Conrad Chisman, Brian Huang, and Walker Lamb all begin their first years at Seattle University.
