Redhawks Kick Off Road Trip in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS - Seattle U women's soccer is back in action this week as they kick off a 2-game road trip starting with a match up with UNLV on Thursday, Aug. 29. They will then travel to California for a battle with the Bulldogs of Fresno State on Sunday.

• Seattle U is set for a 2-game road trip this week when they play at UNLV on Thursday, Aug. 29, and at Fresno State on Sunday, Sep. 1.
• The Redhawks have a short history with both the Rebels and Bulldogs, playing UNLV only two times prior and Fresno State for the first time last season.
• Starting with this road trip, the Redhawks will play eight of their next 10 matches away from Championship Field.
• With her goal at Washington last week, Caroline Penner became the program's active leader in goals (13) and points (30). She was also named the Woman of the Match vs the Huskies.
• Seattle U tied their crosstown rivals for the second straight meeting, ending in a 1-1 draw with Washington. A defeat was narrowly avoided thanks to a Kait Raffensperger goal line clearance.
• Jourdyn Curran leads the team in assists (2), after she perfectly placed the ball for the Redhawks lone goal at Washington.
