SEATTLE - Seattle U volleyball has signed Avery Fearnley to its 2024 class, Head Coach Dan Behnke announced on Monday.
"Avery will be a great addition to this freshman class," said Behnke. "She is a versatile pin hitter that will provide some much needed depth for us."
The 6'3 outside hitter/opposite was a four-year varsity letter-winner at Reno High School in Reno, Nevada, leading her Huskies squad to a 2022 Regional Championship and runner-up finishes in 2020, 2021 and 2023. Fearnley spent her time with the Northern Nevada Juniors (2016-2024) on the club circuit.
Fearnley's parents and sister all took part in athletics while at University of Nevada, participating in football, track and field and volleyball. She plans to major in Kinesiology while at Seattle U.
Fearnley joins Anae Asuncion, Ivy Brown, Nia Johnson, Grace Jones and Brooklyn Stearns as the sixth member of its 2024 class.
