SEATTLE - Seattle U women's golf has signed Shaista Ayesha to its 2024 class, Head Coach Marc Chandonnet announced Monday.
The 2018 Indonesia Junior Golf Player of the Year, Ayesha has won two Indonesia Amateur Golf Championships in 2022 to mark her first time in the World Amateur Golf rankings. A native of Jakarta, Indonesia, Ayesha competed with the Banten Province Golf team, winning three silver medals in foursome, mix foursome and team play at the 2022 Regional Sports Week in Banten, Indonesia. Ayesha has also competed for the Indonesian National Team, competing as a member of the squad that finished runner-ups at the 2023 International Junior Championships in Selangor, Malaysia.
Ayesha joins Jeanne Padillo as members of the Redhawks 2024 class.
