SEATTLE - Seattle U volleyball has inked Ivy Brown, Head Coach Dan Behnke announced on Tuesday.
"Ivy is a versatile athlete that can play in multiple positions," said Behnke. "She's a steady passer and reads well on defense."
The outside hitter/defensive specialist was a four-year varsity letter-winner at Silas High School in Tacoma, Wash., leading her Rams' squad to four straight Pierce League Championships. The four-time First Team All-League member, Brown was named the 2023 Tacoma Athletic Commission Athlete of the Year and 2023 Silas High School Female Athlete of the Year. A 2023 First Team All-Area winner, Brown has guided the Rams' to three straight state playoff appearances.
Brown has played club for the Dakine Warriors (2022-24) over the past three season, helping them take first place in the region each season. Brown plans to major in Kinesiology at Seattle U.
Brown joins Anae Asuncion, Grace Jones and Brooklyn Stearns as the fourth member of the 2024 class.
