Sophomore Livii Fetterley impressed by competing in six total events including the javelin throw, 100 meter hurdles, shot put, high jump, 200 meter dash, and long jump. Fetterley set new personal bests in three events, the javelin throw, 100 meter hurdles, and shot put. Her 100 meter hurdles performance time of 15.27 landed her a fifth all-time top ten school history, and showed improvement from her previous personal best time of 15.39. Her javelin throw of 31.13m landed her a ninth place all-time top ten in school history, and her shot put performance landed her a second place all-time top ten in school history with a mark of 11.90m. Fetterley showed massive improvements in shot put by defeating her previous personal best of 11.70 by .20 meters. Livii used the six events to prepare for the WAC outdoor Heptathlon which she will be competing in.

Freshman JR Zamora also had a number of notable performances, finishing in first place in his heat for the men's 100-meter dash and men's 200 meter. Zamora also competed in the men's triple jump and long jump, earning a second place spot all time in school history for the triple jump with his mark of 13.80m.

"Really pleased with the efforts Friday night." says head coach Kelly Sullivan. "We used the meet for our sprint, jump's, and multi's as competitive training sessions. This allowed them to finish the week up at a great facility in a very controlled environment. It was great for our crews to get on the runway, into the sand and sprint, and to do relays. Livii had a great day by putting six of the seven events in a heptathlon into three hours instead of spread over two days. She had three personal bests and moved from one event to another, obviously she's very fit. The women's four-hundred relay looked good and they all competed in various open events. We didn't compete the middle distance distance group but the rest of the team's got in a great evening of preparing for the rest of the outdoor season. Happy for those who had a chance to win events while doing other speed events and loved the energy throughout." He continues.

The Redhawks set a total of 10 personal bests at the meet, bringing them to an impressive total of 61 personal bests set in the outdoor season so far.
