BELLEVUE, WA - Seattle U dropped their third and final game with Sacramento State, 5-8, Sunday afternoon at Bannerwood Park. The Redhawks had a commanding lead after a 4-run inning in the 2nd, but the Hornets came back with 7-unanswered to take the series sweep.

The Redhawks' 4-runs in the 2nd came off of three straight hits for the offense. Cole Klekcner had an RBI single, followed by a 2-RBI double from Sam Kane, and then capped off with an RBI single from Derek Gellos. The only other SU run on the day came in the 9th off of a single by Ryne Hays that scored Kane.

Cameron Dayton (2-3) would be credited with the loss out of the bullpen on the day, going 2 2/3 IP while giving up four earned.

Seattle U now drops to 8-27 on the season and to 3-12 in conference play. They will have a midweek match up with Saint Martin's on Tuesday, April 16, at Bannerwood Park before getting back to conference play with a 3-game series with Stephen F. Austin starting Friday.
