BELLEVUE, WA - Seattle U baseball dropped game two of their 3-game series with Sacramento State, 0-9, Saturday afternoon at Bannerwood Park. The Redhawks were held to three hits and one run as they dropped the series with their conference foes the Hornets.

"We weren't able to anything against Stewart and Sacramento State took advantage of Chronowski's lack of command," said head coach Donny Harrell post game.  Need to salvage 1 tomorrow."

The Redhawks were held hit-less until the 7th when Derek Gellos hit a double to left field. Michael Tsoukalas would add another double in the 8th, but it wasn't until the 9th when the Redhawks finally broke through on the scoreboard. Ryne Hays legged out a triple and eventually scored off of a bouncing infield ball by Royce Hale, as Seattle U managed just one run on the day.

Peter Chronowski (0-5) was credited with the loss on the mound after going 4 1/3 IP while giving up seven earned runs.

Seattle U now drops to 8-26 overall and to 3-11 in conference play. They will wrap up their 3-game series with Sacramento State tomorrow, April 14, with a scheduled 12pm PT first pitch.
