Derek Gellos has recorded 3+ hits in three straight games and in five of his last ten games. He now leads the team in batting average (.368) and on base pct (.457).
Count on Cam
Cameron Dayton had two different stints on the mound as he was credited with the win at Washington. Dayton, who started the game at first base, went a total of four innings of one earned run ball to secure his 2nd win of the season.
Kane the Conqueror
With his game-winning home run vs Washington on Tuesday, freshman Sam Kane now has seven on the season. That currently leads the team and moves him into 6th for single-season HR in program history. He needs two more to move into sole possession of 2nd.
