SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Seattle U men's golf heads to its final tournament before the Redhawk invitational, heading to the UC San Diego Invitational in San Diego, California. The three-day, 54-hole event is scheduled to take place at the Torrey Pines Golf Course with a yardage of 7,258 yards and par of 72. All three rounds will feature shotgun starts, teeing off at 1 p.m. on Sunday and Monday and 7 a.m. on Tuesday.
The Redhawks will be competing against golfers from UC Santa Barbara, UC Riverside, Idaho, UC Irvine, Lehigh, Fordham, Yale, Oklahoma Christian, Utah State, Bucknell, Air Force, Southern Utah, Denver, North Dakota State, Prairie View A&M, UNLV and the hosts, UC San Diego. Seattle U will send Kevin Li, John Morrow, Liam Gill, Will Koch and Ben Ragland.
This will be the second time Seattle U competes in the UC San Diego Invitational after taking second place overall last season. The Redhawks set records for individual 54 holes total, team lowest hole total through 36 holes and 54 holes.
