PULLMAN, WA - Seattle U baseball dropped the final game of their road match up with Washington State, 3-10, Wednesday afternoon in Pullman. The Redhawks recorded just one less hit than the Cougars, but left 10 runners on base in their loss.
Offensively, nine different Redhawks recorded a hit on the day, but the standout was freshman Sam Kane. He went 4-for-4 on the day, including an RBI single in the top of the 7th. The only other Redhawk to have multiple hits was Jackson Reed (2-for-4), and the only other player with an RBI was Cameron Dayton.
Kian Hogan (1-2) was credited with the loss on the mound, going 2 1/3 IP and giving up four earned runs.
With the loss the Redhawks drop to 6-14 on the season and will now turn their attention back to conference play as Utah Tech comes to town for a 3-game series starting Friday, March 22.
