Luke Alwood has had a strong start to his second season in a Redhawks uniform. The righty leads the team in strikeouts and B/AVG. He also leads the conference in Hits Allowed Per Nine Innings (4.38).

The Redhawks are currently the second rated team in the WAC for fielding percentage (0.979), which is also top-50 in the nation.

Freshman Sam Kane currently leads the Redhawks in Runs (10), Doubles (5), Home Runs (3), and RBI (12).
