TOURNAMENT PREVIEW: Men's Golf at Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate

PALM DESERT, Calif. – Seattle U men's golf begins the 2024 spring season this week, traveling to Palm Desert, California, for the 2024 Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate. The three-day, 54-hole event is scheduled to take place at the Classic Club on the 7,322 yards course with a par of 72.

PALM DESERT, Calif. – Seattle U men's golf begins the 2024 spring season this week, traveling to Palm Desert, California, for the 2024 Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate. The three-day, 54-hole event is scheduled to take place at the Classic Club on the 7,322 yards course with a par of 72.

The Redhawks will be competing against golfers from CSU Northridge, Cal Baptist, Cal State Fullerton, Charlotte, Drake, Grand Canyon, Old Dominion, Sacramento State, Oral Roberts., Southern Utah, Tarleton, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, Utah Tech and the hosts, Wyoming.

Charlotte is the top ranked squad coming into this event, according to the Spikemark's leaderboard, holding down the 48th overall spot. Cal State Fullerton also ranks inside th top-100 at 88th overall, while Grand Canyon sits just outside at 104. 

Seattle U's lineup will consist of Kevin Li, John Morrow, Liam Gill, Blake Kukula and Ben Ragland.

This will mark the fifth time Seattle U has competed at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate in its 16 years of existence and the first time since the 2021-22 season.
