Fourth Quarter Comeback Knocks Off Texans

STEPHENVILLE, Tex. - Seattle U women's basketball (2-20, 2-11 WAC) claimed the victory away from home on Saturday afternoon, using a 21-10 fourth quarter comeback to take down Tarleton, 61-57. The Redhawks were lead by Julianna Walker's career-high 20 points, pouring in a career-best six made three pointers. The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) took place at the Wisdom Gymnasium on the campus of Tarleton State in Stephenville, Texas.

STEPHENVILLE, Tex. - Seattle U women's basketball (2-20, 2-11 WAC) claimed the victory away from home on Saturday afternoon, using a 21-10 fourth quarter comeback to take down Tarleton, 61-57. The Redhawks were lead by Julianna Walker's career-high 20 points, pouring in a career-best six made three pointers. The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) took place at the Wisdom Gymnasium on the campus of Tarleton State in Stephenville, Texas. 

Peyton Howard also chipped in 17 points, marking her second consecutive contest with at least 15. The senior guard added six rebounds and a steal on the afternoon.

Mya Moore also finished in double figures, recording 14 points to go along with eight rebounds, one block and one steal. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Redhawks opened the fourth quarter on a 7-2 run, capped off by Walker's sixth made three pointer of the game to force a Tarleton timeout.

Tarleton built the lead to as large as seven points before Seattle U went on a nine-nothing run that saw them take the lead for good. 

Both Walker and Howard converted on clutch free throws in the final moments to secure the victory.

The Redhawks return to the Redhawk Center next week for two contests, beginning with Southern Utah on Thursday with tip off scheduled for 6 p.m.
