Redhawks Finish 3-Day UNLV Invitational

LAS VEGAS - Seattle U men's and women's swimming wrapped up their 3-day meet at the UNL Invitational in Las Vegas on Tuesday. The Redhawks compiled five top-5 finishes during the meet, with Danielis Kvederis taking ho e two top-5 finishes.

LAS VEGAS - Seattle U men's and women's swimming wrapped up their 3-day meet at the UNL Invitational in Las Vegas on Tuesday. The Redhawks compiled five top-5 finishes during the meet, with Danielis Kvederis taking ho e two top-5 finishes. 

Kvederis recorded a 4:29.43 finish in the 500 Yard Freestyle on day one of the meet. He would then follow with a 4th place finish (48.35) on day two in the 100 Yard Backstroke. Kvederis finished with 50 points, placing him 9th individually. 

Nicholas Imig (50 Yard Free, 20.44), Cole Lanting (100 Yard Fly, 49.18), and Brendan Ryan (200 Yard Breaststroke, 2:01.66) all finished top-5 in their respective races. 

The women's team finished with 202 points, placing 7th in the final standings. The men scored 316, with them finishing 6th. 

Seattle U will be back in the pool after the new year, when they host British Columbia for a dual meet on Friday, January 19. The meet will also be senior day for the Redhawks.
