SEATTLE - Seattle U women's golf has signed Jeanne Padillo to its 2024 class, Head Coach Marc Chandonnet announced Thursday.

"We are so excited Jeanne chose to become a Redhawk," said Chandonnet. "Jeanne has already proven she has what it takes to compete at a very high level and performs even better in the classroom, coming in as a first-class student athlete. I want to send a huge thank you to Jeanne, her family and her supporters in helping guide her decision and trusting us to be the place to support those dreams. Welcome to the Redhawk Family."

A four-year varsity golfer at Glendale High School in Glendale, California, Padillo became the first golfer in program history to win two Pacific League Championships as well as grabbing a runner-up finish in 2021. Padillo concluded her high school career by taking home the 2023 Player of the Year Award in the Pacific League. A four-time US Kids Golf California State Champion and seven-time California Junior Golf Champion, Padillo qualified for the 2023 US Girls Junior Championships in Colorado this past year.
