Preview: Women's Tennis at Gonzaga Invite

SPOKANE, WA-- Seattle U's women's tennis team will be traveling to Spokane, WA to finish out their tournament play in the Gonzaga Invite from October 27th to October 29th. The tournament will include women's open doubles and women's open singles. Competition will begin at 8:30 am PST on October 27th, and will be held at the Stevens Center at Gonzaga University.

The tournament will include women's open doubles and women's open singles. Competition will begin at 8:30 am PST on October 27th, and will be held at the Stevens Center at Gonzaga University. 

In the round of 16 for singles play, Elena Kraleva will have a bye and Anastasia Aleksandra Nikolova will be competing against Eva Sande Alvarez from Washington State in the gold draw. In the blue draw, Liliya Dimova will be competing against Eastern Washington's Isabella Foshee, and Yuna Kadowaki will be matching up against Portland's Nardine Arbaizar Martinez. In the red draw, Lamija Avdic will be competing against Portland State's Makoto Ohara and Lola Tavcar will be taking on Angel Bean from Montana. In the white draw, Shuanghui Huang will be matching up against Gonzaga's Lia Espinal.

In the round of 16 for doubles play, Lola Tavcar and Lamija Avdic will be pairing up against Idaho's Saffron Dowse and Lena Beckx in the blue draw. In the gold draw, Elena Kraleva and Anastasia Aleksandra Nikolova will be competing against Portland's Rose Watanabe and Alaia Rubio Perez, while Liliya Dimova and Yuna Kadowaki will be pairing up against Washington State's Lunda Kumhom and Yura Nakagawa.
