BOULDER CITY, Nev. – Seattle U women's golf concluded the 2023 fall season in historic fashion, setting the program's newest low 36 hole total (573) and low 54 hole total (856) in route to a fourth place finish at The Clash at Boulder Creek. "We are so happy to be able to finish our fall season off on such a positive note," said Head Coach Marc Chandonnet. "I am unbelievably proud of this team and we really showed our true character in how we finished up the second and third round. It goes to show how fantastic of a team we have as the travelers are performing so well because they are pushed every week by the ladies at home. We will celebrate this for a little while and then get back to work during this offseason period, continuing to improve and push to dream a little bigger than we currently are."
The Redhawks played their best golf during the second round, setting new program records for low round (273) and low round vs par (15-under). During this second round, Seattle U tied for first in par threes (two-under) and par fives (seven-under), while finishing third in made birdies (22).
Seattle U wrapped up the tournament tied for first on the par fives (eight-under) and second in made birdies (52).
Morris finished the tournament ranked tied for second the par fives (seven-under) and tied for seventh in made birdies (13). Jumagulova also tied for seventh overall in made birdies (13) and tied for 10th on the par fours (three-under).
