Seattle U wasted no time in taking control of the match, netting the opener in the 2' off the Creighton to Caroline Penner connection. They would double their lead 20 minutes later, this time with Creighton scoring on the pass from Marla Gaudlitz

Makinzie Packwood (33') and Emma de la Cruz (72') would add two more to the Redhawks goal tally as they secured their 8th multi-goal performance of the season and their highest goal output since the 5-0 win over Portland State back in August.

The defense also shined once again, securing shutout number eight of the season, with five of them coming in conference play. Seattle U has outscored their opponents 13-1 in their current six match unbeaten streak.

Match Timeline:  The win improves Seattle U to 7-8-2 overall and to 5-2-1 in conference play. The Redhawks also jump into third in the WAC standings, with only one match left to play in the regular season. That final game will be Sunday, Oct. 22, when SU hosts Utah Tech for senior day. Kickoff between the Redhawks and Trailblazers is set for 1pm PT.
