"We are so happy Jourdyn got recognized for the outstanding game she had on Saturday," said head coach Julie Woodward. "Her and Piburn were definitely the unsung heroes of our game with UVU. Jourdyn played all 90 minutes covering a ton of ground and working so hard defensively to shut down some of the top offensive producers in the conference. She has been a main stay for us in the midfield, both offensively and defensively."

The junior midfielder from Ewa Beach, Hawai'i has statisticly had the best career of her colligate career with three goals and an assist for seven points. Her ability to track back and help defensively has been a big reason for the success the Redhawks have had this season, as they have allowed just one goal in the last five matches.
