SEATTLE - Seattle U volleyball begins the second half of the 2023 Western Athletic Conference (WAC) schedule this week, hosting California Baptist before hitting the road this weekend at Grand Canyon. Both matches will be streamed live on ESPN+ with live stats available.

Seattle U captured a fifth set come from behind victory over Southern Utah last week, rattling off five consecutive points after dropping the first eight and taking the final four for the win.
SU logged a season-high 14 total blocks with Marley Hardgrave setting the game-high at six total blocks.
Arianna Bilby grabbed her ninth double-double fo the year with 16 kills and 13 digs, while Sydney Wilkes (13) and Naima Foster (12) joined her in the double figure kills category. Wilkes set a new career-high with her 13 kills, while Foster finished one dig away from a double-double.
Erin Goya recorded 19 digs in her first start of the year at libero in the win.
The Redhawks rank fifth in in the WAC in blocks per set (1.90) and team total blocks (129) and sixth in team total attacks (2,323).
Arianna Bilby ranks first in the WAC in total attacks (746), second in attacks per set (10.97), third in kills per set (3.54), and points per set (3.94) and fourth in total kills (241).
Naima Foster ranks fourth in the WAC in attacks per set (10.04), and total attacks (683).
Elif Teksoy ranks fourth in the WAC in total assists (612) and assists per set (9.00).
The Redhawks trail the all-time series with the Lancers, 1-6.
Seattle U leads the all-time series with the Lopes, 12-9.
This is Michelle Cole's fourth season at Seattle U and sixth overall as a head coach
The 2023-24 academic year marks the 25th season of SU volleyball since the program was reinstated in 1999. This will be their 16th season as a NCAA Division I member and 12th as part of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).
Seattle U added Felipe Nogueira as an assistant coach this offseason. Nogueira spent the past two seasons as the head coach of the Grand View men's volleyball program, receiving the AVCA Thirty Under Thirty award and guiding the Vikings to a 2022 NAIA National Championship and an overall record of 47-11.
