SEATTLE - Seattle U volleyball (5-9, 0-3 WAC) marked its season opener on Thursday night, falling four sets to UT Arlington. The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) matchup took place at the Redhawk Center on the campus of Seattle U in Seattle, Wash.

Set 1: 20-25
Set 2: 16-25
Set 3: 25-22
Set 4: 18-25

MATCH NOTES 
Marley Hardgrave tied her career-high with her second 10 kill match of the season, while Sydney Wilkes marked a new career-best with nine kills and Naima Foster also chipped in nine kills. 

Hardgrave, Foster and Yasemin Elmas each had four total blocks, while Merima Smajlovic logged three service aces to go along with 12 digs.

Elif Teksoy assisted on 37 total points, while Katlyn Sipes led the team in digs with 15 and Arianna Bilby recorded three service aces to go along with nine digs.
