SEATTLE - Seattle U volleyball opens the 2023 home schedule this week, facing off with UT Arlington and Stephen F. Austin in two Western Athletic Conference (WAC) matchups. Both matches will be streamed live on ESPN+ with live stats available.
In partnership with men's and women's soccer, Seattle U students who attend the Redhawks home opener will have an opportunity to enter a giveaway for tickets to a Seattle Sounders or Seattle Kraken contest.
Students must attend at least two contests for entrance to the Seattle Sounders match giveaway and attend all three for entrance into the Seattle Kraken game giveaway. Seattle U volleyball stress balls will be given away to fans while supplies last. Fans are encouraged to wear white Seattle U gear.

Arianna Bilby continues her stellar season, recording her eighth double-double of the season with a team-leading 16 kills and the second most digs at 15 against Tarleton.
The Redhawks rank fifth in the conference in blocks per set (1.85) and digs per set (14.17)
Arianna Bilby ranks first in the WAC in attacks per set (11.62), total attacks (546) and total kills (185), third in kills per set (3.94) and points per set (4.33) and fifth in points (203.5).
Naima Foster ranks fourth in the WAC in attacks per set (9.94), total attacks (467) and ninth in kills per set (3.00).
Elif Teksoy ranks fourth in the WAC in assists per set (9.21) and total assists (433).
Sipes ranks ninth in the WAC in total digs (169).
The Redhawks are 1-2 all-time against UT Arlington.
The Redhawks are 0-1 all-time against Stephen F. Austin.

The 2023-24 academic year marks the 25th season of SU volleyball since the program was reinstated in 1999. This will be their 16th season as a NCAA Division I member and 12th as part of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).
Seattle U added Felipe Nogueira as an assistant coach this offseason. Nogueira spent the past two seasons as the head coach of the Grand View men's volleyball program, receiving the AVCA Thirty Under Thirty award and guiding the Vikings to a 2022 NAIA National Championship and an overall record of 47-11.
