SEATTLE, Wash. - James Morris has been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending on 9/24.
"Happy for James," said head coach Nate Daligcon. "He has been a great leader for the team on and off the field and it has shown in his play so far this season."
Morris, a senior from Doncaster, helped captain the Redhawks to a win over 20th ranked Washington at home last Thursday in the Fewing Cup. He scored a PK in the 69' for his conference leading sixth goal of the year. It is the second time Morris has been named Offensive Player of the Week this season and the third nomination of his career.
The Redhawks will be back in action this Thursday when the host Utah Valley. Kick off from Championship Field is scheduled for 4pm PT.
