SEATTLE, WA. - Seattle U men's soccer fell just short of their upset bid of No. 14 Denver, settling for a 2-2 draw Monday night at a packed Championship Field.

James Morris put the Redhawks (4-2-2) ahead at two different points in the match, scoring the opener at the 14' mark before breaking a tie at the 81st. The first saw Morris burn the Denver back line off a perfectly placed pass from Joon Lee, while Morris shook off two defenders in the box before beating the keeper on the second.

It was the second brace of the season for Morris, who now has five goals on the season after missing most of last season due to injury. He now also has climbed into sole possession of 4th place in the all-time goals scored rankings in Seattle U history with 21.
