UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. - Seattle University women's golf competes at the Leadership and Golf Invitational to begin the 2023-24 season. The two-day event is scheduled to be played from Sept. 18-19 with the course yardage and par to be announced later. Both days will feature shotgun starts, beginning at 8 a.m.
"We are really excited to get the year started," said Head Coach Marc Chandonnet. "We are feeling really good about our group and hopeful that they will be hungry to work hard."
Seattle U will compete against golfers from BYU, Cal Poly, Colorado, Fresno State, Georgia Southern, Gonzaga, Minnesota, Northern Arizona, Oregon State, Sacramento State, San Diego State, San Francisco, Santa Clara, South Alabama, UC Riverside, USC, Washington and Washington State. The tournament field will consist of 108 golfers from 19 competing schools.
The team lineup will consist of Rivekka Jumagulova, Aaryanna Morris, Tsara Ralamboarison, Shayna Lu and Azumi Arai, while Annika Cruz, Maria Fedorowycz, Konomi Matsubara and Samantha Yates will all compete as individuals.
The tournament will feature live scoring on BirdieFire, while this event will also be live streamed on GKLive.TV.
