MARICOPA, Ariz. - Seattle U women's golf completed postseason play on Sunday afternoon, taking 10th place at the inaugural National Golf Invitational. Graduate student Samantha Bruce concluded her fantastic Seattle U career, tying for 12th overall with a three-round total of 221 (73-75-73). The three-day, 54 hole event occurred at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Arizona, on the 6,318 yards course with a par of 72
Bruce performed some of her best golf on the par fours, finishing fifth overall in average (4.03) and scoring (one-over). The Makati City, Philippines, native finished tied for fourth overall in made birdies with 10. Freshman Aaryanna Morris (79-75-76) wrapped up a phenomenal first campaign by leading the team in pars (33) at this event, while sophomore Annika Cruz (78-76-77) tied for third in par three average (3.08) and scoring (one-over) and fellow sophomore Rivekka Jumagulova (80-76-77) finished two strokes behind her. Sophomore Shayna Lu rounds out the Redhawk participants with a three-round total of 234 (78-80-76).
