SEATTLE, Wash. - Seattle U men's tennis played their first home match of the season, as they hosted the Grand Canyon Lopes at the Amy Yee Tennis Center. The match was very close with the Redhawks even securing the doubles point, but the Lopes would end up taking the 3-4 win.

DOUBLES:
- Michael Frank and Julian Worn got the dual match started with a dominant 6-1 win over Martim Marujo and Paolo Rosati
- Filip Stipic and Yu-Han Hsieh had a competitive match against Jonathan Da Silva and Alfred Almasi, and the Redhawk duo would come out on top 7-5 to secure the doubles point
- Clement Hamel and Veselin Kiselkov attempted to complete the doubles sweep, but would fall just short, dropping their match to William Alsterback and David Wekesa 6-7
- Julian Worn continued his positive momentum into single, scoring a strong 6-1, 6-3 win over Paolo Rosati
- Yu-Han Hsieh would be matched up against Paolo Rosati, but was defeated in two identical sets of 3-6
- Veselin Kiselkov took on Alfred Almasi, but dropped the match 4-6, 3-6
- Michael Frank had a competitive match against William Alsterback that went to a tie breaking third set, but Frank would come up just short, losing the match 6-4, 3-6, 0-6
- Clement Hamel took Jonathan Da Silva to three sets, but Da Silva would end up taking the win 2-6, 6-2, 6-7(2) to secure the team win for the Lopes
- Filip Stipic would wrap up the match against Martim Marujo with a 6-3, 5-7, 6-3 win
