Millbrae, Calif. - Seattle U women's golf heads to its final tournament before the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Championships this Monday, traveling to Millbrae, California, for the Silicon Valley Showcase. The two-day, 54 hole event is scheduled to take place at Green Hills Country Club on the 6,061 yards course with a par of 71. Both days will begin with shotgun starts at 8:30 a.m.
The Redhawks will be competing against golfers from Cal State Long Beach, Gonzaga, Nevada, Pepperdine, San Francisco, Stanford, UC Irvine, Wyoming and the hosts, Santa Clara. Seattle U's team lineup will consist of graduate student Samantha Bruce, senior Azumi Arai, sophomores Rivekka Jumagulova and Shayna Lu and freshman Aaryanna Morris. Competing as an individual will be sophomore Annika Cruz.
