ARLINGTON, Texas. - Seattle U men's tennis faced off against UTRGV in the first round of the WAC Championships, hosted by UT Arlington. The Redhawks got the doubles point, but could not continue the momentum in singles, as the Vaqueros win the matchup, 4-2.

DOUBLES:
- Yu-Han Hsieh and Filip Stipic took on Chris Lawrence and Sam Whitehead, with the Redhawk duo taking the win 6-4
- With the doubles team score at 1-1, Seattle U's Doubles First Team All-WAC pair of Julian Worn and Michael Frank had a heated battle against Karlo Krolo and Te Kani Williams. The Redhawk duo came out victorious, taking the win 7-6 (8:6) to secure the doubles point for SU.
- Clement Hamel and Emilien Burnel had a back in forth match that went to three sets, but Burnel would take the win 7-5, 2-6, 6-1
- After a close first set, Yu-Han Hsieh came back to dominate Chris Lawrence in the second, securing the win 7-5, 6-0
- Veselin Kiselkov was paired up against Karlo Krolo, but would drop the match in two identical sets of 6-4
- Julian Worn took on Agustin Salazar, but would be defeated 6-3, 6-1
- Michael Frank put up a valiant effort against Sam Whitehead, but Frank would drop the match 6-1, 6-4
- Filip Stipic and Borna Devald were having a great back and forth match, but the match would go unfinished as UTRGV secured the team win
