Track and Field to Compete at OSU High Performance

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Seattle U track and field return to action at the Oregon State High Performance meet, hosted by Oregon State in Corvallis, Oregon. The meet will take place on April 28-29, with the first event starting at 10:00 AM PST, and it will be the last full team meet of the regular season for the Redhawks before the WAC Championships.

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Seattle U track and field return to action at the Oregon State High Performance meet, hosted by Oregon State in Corvallis, Oregon. The meet will take place on April 28-29, with the first event starting at 10:00 AM PST, and it will be the last full team meet of the regular season for the Redhawks before the WAC Championships.

The men's and women's teams are coming off a successful trip to California, where they split the team to the Long Beach State Invite in Long Beach, and the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California. 

LONG BEACH HIGHLIGHTS:
  • The men's 4x100m squad of Noah PayneMiguel Rosario IIITom Topinka and Isaiah Payne clocked in a time of 41.51 seconds, tying the school record
  • Livii Fetterley clocked in a seasons best of 15.74 seconds in the 100 hurdles, improving on her standing of sixth in school history in the event.
  • Reyna Dismukes and Bryana Rogers both jumped 5.53m in the long jump. The mark by Dismukes was wind legal, which places her fifth in school history in the event. 
  • Ashley Hagar cracks the top-ten list in the long jump, as she would notch a mark of 5.30m to put her ninth in school history.
  • Miguel Rosario III (10.58), Noah Payne (10.83), and Kavon Holden (10.91) all ran personal bests in the 100m dash. Holden's mark was wind legal, placing him sixth in school history in the event
BRYAN CLAY HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Azalea Groleau set top ten marks in both the 5000m and 1500m. Her 5000m time of 17:00.27 placed her third in school history, while her time of 4:37.04 is good for seventh on the SU top-ten list
  • Hezekiah Goodwin and Alex Jensen place themselves in the top-ten list for the 800m. Goodwin's time of 1:54.21 ranks him sixth in school history, and Jensen's mark of 1:55.16 places him tenth in school history
  • Grace Much clocked in a personal best in the 800m of 2:16.28 to put her ninth on the top-ten list
  • Rajesh Gill put himself in the top-ten list in the 1500m, running a personal best of 3:54.17 to place him sixth in school history
  • Shannon Sadler and Ashley Hagar find themselves on the top-ten list for the triple jump. Sadler jumps a new PR of 11.17 to place her sixth in school history, Hagar's mark of 11.09 put her seventh on the top-ten list
