SERIES HISTORY:
This will be only the second time these two sides have met in a series, and the first time since 2021. The Redhawks dropped that lone series, also at Bannerwood, one game to three. After falling in game one, the Redhawks evened the series in the first game of a doubleheader the next day. A Justin Mazzone 3-run homerun in the bottom of the 1st provided all the runs for SU, while Alex Jemal was credited with the win and Lucas Ford with a save.
