Redhawks Wrap Up Play at Anuenue Spring Break Classic

KA'ANAPALI, Maui, Hawaii - Seattle U women's golf wrapped up play at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic on Wednesday, finishing 13th overall. The three-day, 54-hole event took place at Royal Ka'anapali Course on the 6,013 yards course with a par of 72.

KA'ANAPALI, Maui, Hawaii - Seattle U women's golf wrapped up play at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic on Wednesday, finishing 13th overall. The three-day, 54-hole event took place at Royal Ka'anapali Course on the 6,013 yards course with a par of 72. 

Sophomore Shayna Lu (71-74-78) was the Redhawks top finisher, posting a strong round of 1-under 71 to open the tournament on Monday. Lu played some of her best golf on the par threes, tying for ninth overall in scoring (even) and average (3.00). Fellow sophomore Rivekka Jumagulova (76-74-77) led the team in made birdies (nine), while graduate student Samantha Bruce (76-74-79) finished two strokes behind her and freshman Aaryanna Morris (76-79-800 tied for sixth in scoring (five-under) and average (4.58) on the par fives. Maria Fedorowycz rounds out the team score with a three-round total of 243 (73-82-88). 

The Redhawks will head to one more tournament before the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Championships, traveling to Millbrae, California, for the Silicon Valley Showcase from Apr. 10-11.
