ST. GEORGE, Utah. - Seattle U women's tennis will continue WAC play with a dual match against Utah Tech on March 26. The match will take place at the Trailblazers Tennis Courts, located on Utah Tech's campus, with the match starting at 9:00 AM PST.
The women started WAC play last week with matches against Grand Canyon in Phoenix, and New Mexico State in Las Cruses, New Mexico. In the match against New Mexico, grad transfer Marija Elenova and sophomore Mireia Fehr both picked up wins in singles play.
Mireia Fehr had two very competitive sets against Miranda Bishard. Fehr would come out victorious, taking both sets in scores of 7(3)-6 and 7-5. Marija Elenova had a heated battle against Natsuki Nishimura, and Elenova would come out on top with Nishimura retiring the match. The match was 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 before Nishimura retried.
