TOURNAMENT PREVIEW: Women's Golf at Anuenue Spring Break Classic

KA'ANAPALI, Maui, Hawaii - Seattle U women's golf continues the 2023 spring season on Monday, traveling to Ka'anapali, Maui, Hawaii, for the Anuenue Spring Break Classic. The three-day, 54-hole event is scheduled to take place at Royal Ka'anapali Course on the 6,013 yards course with a par of 72.

KA'ANAPALI, Maui, Hawaii - Seattle U women's golf continues the 2023 spring season on Monday, traveling to Ka'anapali, Maui, Hawaii, for the Anuenue Spring Break Classic. The three-day, 54-hole event is scheduled to take place at Royal Ka'anapali Course on the 6,013 yards course with a par of 72. 

The Redhawks will be competing against golfers from Boise State, Brigham Young, Cal Poly, Denver, Gonzaga, New Mexico State, Pepperdine, San Francisco, Santa Clara, Stanford, Tulane, UC Davis, UCLA and the hosts, Hawai'i. Seattle U's team lineup will consist of graduate student Samantha Bruce, sophomores Maria Fedorowycz, Rivekka Jumagulova and Shayna Lu and freshman Aaryanna Morris.

This will mark the fourth time Seattle U has competed at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic with the most recent coming in 2017. 

Freshman Aaryanna Morris led the Redhawks at the previous two events, finishing in the top-20 at the Grand Canyon Invitational and posting two one-under par rounds at the Trinity Forest Invitational. Morris also marked a top-20 finish at the end of the fall season, setting a career-best finish at tied for 13th overall with a three-over 219.
