PORTLAND, Ore. - Seattle U men's tennis will travel south to face off against Portland State in a dual match. The match will take place at the Tualatin Hills Tennis Center in Beaverton, Oregon, with the match set to start at 10:00 AM PST.
The men are coming off a bye-week in hopes to compete with clear minds. The last time they competed was two weeks ago when they travelled to Pocatello, Idaho to face off against Weber State and Idaho State.
Some highlights from the match against Weber State included securing the doubles point as the pairings of Veselin Kiselkov/Clement Hamel and Julian Worn/Michael Frank won their matches.
Additionally, Kiselkov won his matchup against William Zulich 6-4, 6-2.
In the match against Idaho State, the Redhawks kept up the fantastic play in doubles as they swept all three matches in doubles. Kiselkov and Hamel defeated Andreas Kramer and Valentino De Pellegrin 7-6(4).
Julian Worn and Michael Frank would follow up with another close matchup against Wilkus Robbertse and Patrick Kristensen, and would take the win 7-5, and Filip Stipic and Yu-Han Hsieh teamed up to battle the duo of Hiroki Fujita and Ethan Lye, securing the win 7-5, as well as the doubles point.
