Series History:

This will be the second series matchup between the Redhawks and Dirtbags all-time. The previous meeting came in 2013 in Long Beach, when Seattle U took two out of three in the series. After winning game one, the Redhawks dropped the second which set up a winner take all in the series finale. Heading into the final two innings the ballgame was tied at four. Grant Newton, who came in as a pinch hitter earlier in the game, smacked a solo homerun in the top of the 8th that proved to be the difference in the 5-4 win.
