Track and Field Return to Dempsey at Husky Classic

SEATTLE, Wash. - Seattle U track and field will take part in its third and final meet in Seattle on Feb. 10-11 at the Husky Classic. Both days of events will take place at the Dempsey Indoor Facility on the campus of Washington.

SEATTLE, Wash. - Seattle U track and field will take part in its third and final meet in Seattle on Feb. 10-11 at the Husky Classic. Both days of events will take place at the Dempsey Indoor Facility on the campus of Washington. 

Friday's events will start with the women's 60m hurdles prelims at 2:30 PM PST. The day will finish at 8:10 PM PST with the men's invitational 3000m. Saturday's events will start at 10:00 AM PST with the women's long jump, and will conclude at 2:50 PM PST with the men's 4x400m relay. Live results to the meet can be found HERE.

Last time out, the Redhawks had a total of 10 new top-10 all time marks, led by two new school records in the men's and women's distance medley relay. 

n the women's DMR, the relay team of Grace Much (1200m), Taylor Marks (400m), Maya McCabe (800m), and Azalea Groleau (1600m) clocked in a time of 11:55.21, shattering the old record by 7 seconds, which was set in 2017.

In the men's DMR, the quartet of Alex Franklin (1200m), Isaiah Payne (400m), Hezekiah Goodwin (800m), and Gus Harquail (1600m) clocked on a time 0f 10:00.19, which beat the old record by 6 seconds, which was set in 2016.
