TOURNAMENT PREVIEW: Men's Golf at Wyoming World Match Play

PALM DESERT, Calif. – Seattle U men's golf will open its second tournaments of the spring season on Friday, playing in the Wyoming World Match Play. The two-day, match play style event is scheduled to take place at the Classic Club in Palm Desert, California, on the 7,305 yards course with a par of 72.

PALM DESERT, Calif. – Seattle U men's golf will open its second tournaments of the spring season on Friday, playing in the Wyoming World Match Play. The two-day, match play style event is scheduled to take place at the Classic Club in Palm Desert, California, on the 7,305 yards course with a par of 72. 

Instead of the usual stroke play format, the Wyoming World Match Play includes team-based scoring where the teams compete in head-to-head matchups. Seattle U is slated at the five seed, facing off with the hosts and four seed, Wyoming, in the first round. In the second round, Seattle U will be up against either the #1 Colorado or the #8 South Dakota State. To view the full match play bracket, click HERE.

Colorado, San Diego, San Francisco, Wyoming, Boise State, Wichita State and South Dakota State fill out the tournament bracket. Seattle U will send graduate students Nathan Cogswell and Jack Rahon, senior John Morrow, junior Blake Kukula, sophomore Liam Gill and freshman Ben Ragland
