SEATTLE, Wash. - Seattle U women's swim took on Pacific Lutheran at home on senior night, defeating the Lutes 196-36.

"I'm really excited about the results from today's meet" said Head Coach Joe Dykstra "It was great to honor our seniors who have been through so much in their time here. After a month off from competition and going through our hardest training block of the year, I thought we might be a little rusty, but the results say otherwise. We got the chance to see some of our athletes compete in events they normally don't do and they did a terrific job!"

The Redhawks started off strong, winning the very first event of the meet, the 200 Medley Relay. The team of Lydia Genson, Sarah Cook, Nohea Kamuu, and Sammy Mosier finished in a time of 1:51.18 for the first place finish. The women also won the 200 Free Relay, with the team of Cook, Isabella Guadiamos, Genson, and Mosier finishing in a time of 1:40.69.

In addition to great relay finishes, the Redhawks also had many first place individual finishes, with some athletes winning multiple events. Maggie Robben had a busy day, as she finished first in the 100 Breast, 200 Breast, and 200 IM, finishing in 1:09.02, 2:28.67, and 2:12.11 respectively.

Sammy Mosier won both the 50 Free and 100 Free with short turnaround time. Mosier was able to finish the 50 Free in 24.53 and the 100 Free in 53.84 with only the Men's 50 Free in between her two efforts.

True freshman Sarah Cook continued to impress in her first colligate season, as she picked up two wins in both the 100 Fly and and 200 Fly, clocking in times of 58.02 and 2:08.58 respectively.

Other event winners included Emilia Culberson in the 200 Free (1:58.62), Aubrey Chang in the 100 Back (1:00.93), Danika Himes in the 200 Back (2:10.53), and Cassie Koester in the 500 Free (5:20.09).
