TUCSON, Ariz. – Seattle U men's golf begins the spring campaign on Monday, taking part in the Arizona Intercollegiate. The two-day event is scheduled to take place at the Tucson Country Club on the 7,072 yards course with a par of 72.

TUCSON, Ariz. – Seattle U men's golf begins the spring campaign on Monday, taking part in the Arizona Intercollegiate. The two-day event is scheduled to take place at the Tucson Country Club on the 7,072 yards course with a par of 72.

The Redhawks will be competing against golfers from Brigham Young, California, Cal Poly, Central Michigan, Iowa State, Long Beach State, New Mexico, New Mexico State, St. Mary's, SMU, Santa Clara, Texas A&M, West Virginia. Seattle U's team lineup will consist of graduate students Nathan Cogswell and Jack Rahon, senior John Morrow, and freshman Burly Hildreth and Ben Ragland. This will be Seattle U's first time competing in this tournament in its history.

The Redhawks begin the spring slate after a successful fall season, taking two top-five finishes. New program records in low round (267), low round vs. par (-17), low total over a period of 36 holes (553) and low 54 hole total (838) were set at the Nick Watney Invitational in Fresno, Calif. in a fifth place finish.

Seattle U ended the fall campaign with its best finish of the season, earning second overall out of nine teams with graduate student Jack Rahon claiming his best overall finish of the year.
