SEATTLE - Seattle U men's golf has signed Kevin Ligang Li to its 2023 class, Head Coach Marc Chandonnet announced Friday.
"I am excited to welcome Kevin to the Seattle U Redhawk golf program," said Chandonnet. "He comes highly regarded as both a player and person, which is something I learned as soon as I meet him. He's recently won some big time events and proven that he has what it takes to compete at a high level. Kevin is a passionate, hard working and appreciative young man who I'm excited to work with as he grows and matures."
Kevin Ligang Li earned medalist honors at the First Next Tee Invitational and on the China Amateur Tour. Li also has experience competing on the China professional event tour for two years. The native of Shenzhen, Guangdon, China, is currently a high school senior at Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School in Vancouver, B.C., Canada and plans on majoring in Business Economics at Seattle U.
Li joins Caleb Davies and Will Koch on Seattle U's 2023 class.
