ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico - Seattle U track and field completed the 2022 indoor season on Saturday at the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Over the two-day event, Seattle U set three school records, 11 top-10 all-time marks and 16 personal bests as well as earning one All-WAC Second Team honor.

On the men's side, redshirt sophomore Alex Franklin posted a new PR in the 800m prelims at 1:53.52, which ranks second all-time and was good enough to qualify him for the finals. Franklin would go on to finish fifth, earning Second Team All-WAC honors. Junior James Parker was about one second off his PR in the one mile, qualifying for the finals and finishing 10th overall.

In the field events, sophomore Bryana Rogers qualified for the finals in the triple jump, posting a season best mark of 11.34m (37' 2.5") which was about two feet better than her previous best this season.
